Mentorship and Supervision

Becoming a psychedelic practitioner can feel lonely. Whether you’re trained in modern clinical methods or learned from indigenous traditions, running a private practice is tough. Balancing the imperative of cultural sensitivity, safety, and integrity while tending to the multifaceted demands of the profession, including the crucial aspect of self-care, presents a tangible challenge.
I offer necessary support based on my own successful practice to those who could use a helping hand on their own journey.

Why is supervision necessary?

Practitioner supervision is a fundamental pillar in the professional growth and ethical practice of every individual in the field.

It provides a reflective sanctuary where practitioners can immerse themselves in case analyses, explore personal reactions, and refine their clinical skills under the seasoned guidance of experienced supervisors. This process offers invaluable opportunities for self-awareness and development, allowing practitioners to unearth blind spots, confront biases, and identify personal triggers that might influence their therapeutic approach.

Additionally, supervision instills a sense of accountability and commitment to ethical principles, ensuring practitioners maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Through ongoing supervision, practitioners can navigate intricate clinical challenges, receive constructive feedback, and nurture resilience in the face of adversity.

Ultimately, supervision not only elevates the quality of client care but also nurtures the well-being and effectiveness of practitioners, fostering a culture of continuous learning and enhancement within the therapeutic realm.

What makes me an expert?

With a life story deeply intertwined with diverse cultures and languages, coupled with extensive experience in both indigenous healing traditions and Western psychology education, I stand as a seasoned expert in the psychedelic field and a trusted supervisor for fellow practitioners.

Having immersed myself in indigenous healing traditions for over 15 years, 8 of which I was living alongside revered mentors in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, my expertise is unparalleled.

Furthermore, my dedication to professional development is evident in my academic pursuits. With a background in psychology education and ongoing studies in expressive arts therapy at the postgraduate level, I am committed to expanding my therapeutic toolkit. En route to becoming a registered psychotherapist by 2026, I am continually enhancing my skills and knowledge to better serve my clients and the community. This educational journey underscores my unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive and effective care within the psychedelic field and beyond.

Throughout my career, I've served over a thousand clients, honing my skills in both local events and international retreats. My approach seamlessly integrates ancient wisdom with contemporary therapeutic modalities, ensuring a balance of cultural sensitivity, safety, and integrity in my practice.

Personally supervised by registered psychotherapists and engaged in ongoing personal therapy, I've honed my ability to navigate complexities such as transference, countertransference, and unexpected therapeutic ruptures with grace and insight. My dedication to ethical practice, community support, and environmental sustainability further underscores my role as a trusted guide and mentor in the psychedelic field, fostering a legacy of healing and cultural preservation for generations to come.

Who is it for and how does it work?

A diverse range of practitioners can benefit from my psychedelic supervision, including therapists, counselors, coaches, and healers who incorporate psychedelic-assisted therapies or plant medicine practices into their work.

Additionally, individuals exploring integration support after personal psychedelic experiences can find guidance and insight through supervision. Whether practitioners are seasoned professionals seeking to deepen their expertise or newcomers navigating the complexities of this emerging field, my supervision offers a supportive space for reflection, growth, and ethical practice.

As no two practitioners or practices are alike, our initial focus is on identifying the specific support you require. Whether it's administrative assistance, budgeting guidance, insight into indigenous ways of knowing, personal introspection, case consultations, ethics, legal considerations, or professional development, we tailor our sessions to your unique needs.

Supervision offers not just guidance, but also a sense of support and encouragement from peers that can be unexpectedly uplifting. If this resonates with you, I invite you to schedule a video call with me to explore how we can collaborate on your journey.
