Group Therapy
Group therapy offers profound benefits that extend beyond what individual therapy can provide, particularly in nurturing healing within a vibrant community.
The shared experiences of group members create a warm, supportive space where individuals can connect deeply, share their stories, and draw strength from one another’s journeys. This collective dynamic fosters a sense of belonging, reminding participants that they are not alone in their struggles.
Moreover, group therapy is often more affordable, making mental health support accessible to many seeking solace and understanding. As participants witness each other’s vulnerabilities and triumphs, they gain invaluable insights that enrich their own healing journeys, cultivating empathy, connection, and personal growth in a soulful way.
Expressive Arts Group Therapy
This online therapy group invites 8 individuals to engage in 10 group sessions, 2 hours each, and 2 private 60 min. intake and exit sessions.
The primary aim is to establish a vital community space fostering connection, imagination, and healing by rekindling emotions, values, and dreams. Participants will collectively delve into diverse themes ranging from grief to joy, neglect to emotional safety, seeking healing through artistic expression.
The sessions welcome everyone, regardless of prior art experience, tapping into the inherent creativity within. Minimal and easily accessible art supplies may be necessary.

Coming into Wholeness
The pain of emotional neglect often leaves us feeling hollow, disconnected, and perpetually doubting our own perceptions. When our emotional needs were overlooked in our formative years, shame, guilt, and low self-esteem may have become unwelcome yet persistent companions throughout our lives. In the present, our relationships might seem like an endless cycle of rejection fears, conflicts, and profound loneliness.
Rediscovering our innate sense of Wholeness is a transformative journey that begins when we choose to reconnect with our True Self. This path involves nurturing our Inner Child and cultivating healthy relationships built on trust, respect, and mutual accountability.
Through this guided journey, you'll have the opportunity to:
-
Unravel the impact of past neglect on your present life
-
Develop tools for emotional regulation and self-compassion
-
Learn to trust your perceptions and honor your needs
-
Build meaningful connections with yourself and others
The group is led by Laura Farberman, MSW, Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Mariya Garnet EXAT student therapist and utilizes techniques of Compassionate inquiry, Expressive Arts Therapy and spiritual psychotherapy and is covered by most benefit plan providers.
