Terms and Conditions

Welcome to my practice, I, Mariya Garnet, am an artist, coach, facilitator and a postgraduate student of Expressive Arts Therapy at CREATE Institute (Toronto). My training includes an Advanced Diploma in Media Arts, 16 years of apprenticeship and practice within Peruvian Vegetalismo tradition ( Amazonian indigenous tradition of addressing one's physical and emotional health) and a professional retraining program in Practical Psychology (Integral Neuroprogramming modality) from Institute of Innovative Psychotechnologies ( Russia).

Thank you for choosing to attend a personal retreat taking place in nature. I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment where all participants can feel respected and valued. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before registering for the event.

1. This is a collaborative relationship between individuals, and both the client and the facilitator have certain rights and responsibilities. As a client, you have the right to considerate, safe, and respectful care, without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, or source of payment. You also have the right to ask questions about any aspects of the process and the coach's specific training and experience.

2.Confidentiality is an essential part of these services, and any information collected during sessions is treated confidentially and cannot be disclosed to a third party without written permission from the client. However, the confidentiality rule does not apply in certain cases, such as if you disclose information about harming yourself, harming a specific identified person, disclosing previously undisclosed sexual offenses, or other serious, violent crimes against identifiable individuals, disclosing information that would indicate a particular child under the age of 16 years has been harmed or is at risk of being harmed or neglected, or disclosing sexual abuse by a regulated health professional. In addition, a court may order the release of your records.

3.Booking Deposits: All participants must pay a booking deposit at the time of booking. The deposit can be transferred to a future date up to 30 days before the scheduled retreat date, but it cannot be refunded. No refunds will be given if a participant does not complete the program and leaves early.

4.The remaining balance is due upon arrival in cash. Unless you have chosen to pay with a credit card online in full or with payment plan.

5.Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your booking, you must do so at least 30 days before the start of the event and transfer your booking deposit to a future date. If you cancel less than 30 days before the event, your deposit will be forfeited and cannot be transferred.

6.Local Laws: Participants are responsible for understanding and complying with all local laws and regulations related to this event.

7.Diversity and Inclusion: I believe in creating an environment that respects and values diversity in all its forms. I do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, or source of payment. All participants are expected to treat each other with respect and to refrain from any behavior that is discriminatory or offensive.

8.Respectful Conduct: All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner during the event. Harassment, discrimination, or other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the event. Facilitators reserve the right to exclude anyone deemed unsafe from participating in the retreat.

9.Health and Safety: Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the event. Please be aware of the risks associated with retreat activities and take appropriate precautions, including wearing appropriate clothing and footwear, staying hydrated, and following all safety guidelines provided by event organizers.

10.Emotional Risks: Participation in this event has both benefits and risks. Risks may include experiencing uncomfortable feelings such as sadness, guilt, anxiety, anger, frustration, loneliness, and helplessness, as the process may require discussing the unpleasant aspects of your life. Your active participation is crucial to the success of the session, and you may need to work on things that will come up outside of sessions.

11.Liability: Participants assume all risks and liabilities associated with attending the event. Event organizers and sponsors are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event.

12.I acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in the Reset, Rewire Reconnect personal retreat.

In so doing, I acknowledge that I may be subjecting myself to dangers and hazards that could result in illness, injury or death. I also acknowledge that there are inherent risks and dangers that may arise at any time during the event.
